CBD + YOU

CANNABIS FORWOMEN

No signs of toxicity or serious side effects havebeen observed following chronicadministration of cannabidiol (CBD) to healthyvolunteers. CBD affects people differently, all starting withthe body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS) —the system that helps regulate sleep, appetite, mood, motor control, immune function, pleasure, pain, reproduction and fertility, memory and temperature regulation.

While the human body naturally producesendocannabinoids, the effects of CBD on thebody vary person to person:

GENETICS

Only 20% of humans have a healthy ECS with high levels ofanandamide — the “bliss” molecule

Since CBD replaces naturally occurring endocannabinoids, those with greater “bliss” levels are less likely to feel the effectsof CBD since their body already produces the intended results.

GENDER

Diet, stress + lifestyle influence endocannabinoid levels.Estrogen may enhance sensitivity to cannabis — particularly 1-2days prior to ovulation when estrogen has peaked and beginsto fall.

Individuals who have deprived levels of endocannabinoids willmost likely produce a favorable experience. Knowing this, W!NKwas strategically designed to help ease side effects of femalespecificconditions.

LIFESTYLE

Using cannabis as a treatment provides a different experiencethan using cannabis recreationally. When fighting off anailment, a person’s endocannabinoid levels are replenishedthus having a feeling of normalcy.

A healthy person, on the other hand, may use the same productand feel nothing at all or very different effects and thus, buildtolerance.

UNDERSTANDING CANNABIS

THC VS CBD

Choosing the path to hemp that is right for you can be overwhelming, regardless if you’re a first-time or returning user. W!NK™ is dedicated to empowering women who want to enjoy the therapeutic effects of cannabis and hemp-derived CBD products. Understanding your journey is a large part of your life with hemp.

The education is vast, but we're happy to guide you through the basics: CBD and THC are the two most prominent cannabinoids found in Cannabis, the plant genus that includes both CBD (hemp) + THC (marijuana).

Both interact with the body through the endocannabinoid system — an important physiologic system involved in establishing + maintaining human health by regulating a wide array of functions — some of which include: pain, mood, memory, immune response, sleep + cycles of cellular life.

The Cannabis plant contains 60+ naturally occurring, active compounds called cannabinoids. Of those 60+ compounds, Cannabidiol (CBD) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) are the most common. The THC cannabinoid is responsible for producing the mind-altering psychoactive effects known as “the high”.

Unlike THC, the CBD cannabinoid is non-intoxicating yet still maintains the same therapeutic benefits of Cannabis without “the high”. Cannabis plants are divided into two crops: hemp (also known as Industrial Hemp) and marijuana each with different cannabinoid ratios.
